I have a holistic coaching style that focuses on the client as a whole person and not just as a set of problems to be solved. Session by session you will develop your emotional intelligence, explore new possibilities, combat negative biases, and activate your personal and professional goals.

I will deepen your understanding of your values, passions and motivations and facilitate you to tap into your innate strengths and talents. I will work with you to challenge assumptions, identify blind spots and illuminate fresh perspectives to remove your identity blockers, ignite self-compassion and find your path forward as a creative leader. I will challenge and stretch you in a way that only an objective, unbiased professional can.

I will be your support system every step of the way, encouraging you but also keeping you accountable to your progress. I won’t give you the answers to your questions but instead guide and empower you to come up with your own solutions and support you to execute them. There is never any judgement, always complete confidentiality and without a doubt some big ‘aha’ moments along the way.

Between sessions, you will work on your determined action steps and will also have access to multiple assessments as needed in order to unlock further knowledge and potential. Developing self-awareness and working through transitions authentically doesn’t happen overnight but with time and dedication, they will happen.

1:1 COACHING: INITIAL ENGAGEMENT

I provide complimentary 45min introductory sessions so you can get a feel for how I coach and I can hear more about your challenges and goals. If the engagement feels right, we move forward with an initial coaching engagement.

Initial coaching engagements usually run for three months and consist of:

  • Weekly 1 hour sessions typically held over the zoom or the phone

  • Assessments and customized action-steps between sessions

  • Access to Amelia via email, text or quick phone calls between sessions for support

FEE: Pricing depends on your professional level – entry level, mid-level, entrepreneur or executive. In your complimentary introductory session we will discuss pricing suitable for you.

TYPE OF COACHING: While the common terms for this kind of work today are executive coaching, business coaching, career coaching and life coaching, I prefer to call my work leadership coaching. My coaching style focuses on the development of the whole person so they can best lead themselves and others in all facets of work and life.

INTRO SESSION: Coaching is a profound and meaningful investment that requires a strong commitment and enthusiasm from the client. Please feel free to connect with me for an introductory conversation if you think coaching is the right next step for you.

1:1 COACHING: FLEXIBLE ONGOING ENGAGEMENT

After the initial engagement, I work very flexibly to make sure you receive what you need. Some clients still want weekly sessions, others move to biweekly or monthly sessions, and other clients decide to reach out for a session as required.

GROUP + CORPORATE COACHING

I also work directly with companies looking to provide individual and group coaching to employees. All sessions are completely confidential and 360 assessments can be included if desired. Post-engagement surveys can also be organized to provide the employer with an understanding of the effectiveness of the coaching. Please feel free to connect with me for more information on how coaching can be tailored for your company’s needs.

BENEFITS OF COACHING

Coaching is a partnership between the client and the coach who are both focused solely on the client and their goals. It is a thought-provoking and creative process that guides and empowers clients to shift their perspectives and enhance their potential. It is a comprehensive process that may involve all areas of life, including personal development, work and career, finances, health and wellness, relationships, education, spirituality and recreation.

Coaching is distinct from other service professions such as therapy and mentoring. It focuses not on the past but on the roadmap from the present to the future. It is rooted in the concept that the client sets their own goals, creates outcomes and manages personal change with the support and guidance of the coach. Studies carried out on the brain show that when a person is empowered to come up with their own solutions, they have ‘aha’ moments that allow them to put their solution into practice successfully.

The benefits of coaching are unique to each client and the goals they set out to achieve. Through studies carried out by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), we know that the coaching process results in a range of benefits including:

  • Improved self-confidence and sense of well-being

  • Better stress-management skills and increased creativity

  • Enhanced interpersonal relationships and communication skills

  • Increased productivity – improved work performance, business management, time management, team effectiveness

  • Increased ability to tap into your own intuition through improved self-awareness

  • Increased ROI: Coaching generates learning and clarity for forward action with a commitment to measurable outcomes. The vast majority of companies (86%) say they at least made their investment back from coaching programs (ICF Website)
